It was started as a club for wealthy coffee or tea planters who were either Englishmen or Scots. The original building which served as a club house was centered around the present billiard room. Today it welcomes foreign tourists as «club members», and you will surely feel the amazing history in the walls.

You should definitely try a «High Tea» or a full dinner in the luxurious dining hall. Please note there is a strict dress code!

The hotel also has a casual dining room and casual bar.
